Words to live by.

Please remember the following:

· Don’t suffer from paralysis by analysis. In other words, instead of over thinking an idea you must execute the idea. JUST DO IT!

· You can never build a reputation on what you are going to do! Again….just do it!

· In every conversation a sale is made. Either you sell them on your ideas/beliefs/concept/product or they sell you on why they shouldn’t buy it. Which side do you want to be on?

· Don’t buy things you don’t need with money you don’t have to impress people you don’t like.

That’s it for now. More to come later. Big up to the Jamaican Olympians!

Found Jesus in the gym?

So......today I worked out with my trainer Matt. I can safely say that this was the hardest I have worked out in about 15 years! So hard, that I think I found Jesus! Yes, Jesus! I even started saying the Lord's prayer. Damn.....I thought I was about to die! And oh yeah, I am a border line atheist.

I have always been a proud agnostic and dismissed the notion that a superior being in the sky sent his son to earth to die for our sins. But today, I must have said "oh my god!" and "holy Jesus" so many times that the other persons in the gym must have thought that I was a priest. Instead I was kinda performing my last rites.

Oh well, I will be back in the gym on Friday .....God willing. LOL!

Bob Costas is a spoilt child.

I am very disappointed in the two sports anchors (Alto Boldon and Bob Costas). I just heard Bob Costas mention state that Usain Bolt was disrespectful to the Olympics and to other athletes for "beating his chest" and "show boating" as he won the 100 m men's finals. I have always enjoyed watching Bob Costas and hope that he recognizes his error.

What Bolt did was no more show boating than when Micheal Johnson introduced his golden spikes or when Phelps shouted at the top of his voice and flexed excessively as he won his 8th gold medal. They were all embracing the moment and celebrating in their own way.

A message to Bolt.... "do you".

NBC's coverage of the Olympics.

Watching the Olympics has inspired me to start a blog. And oh yeah, my wife has been telling me to do it. So here I am!

Like most of you, I have been watching NBC's coverage of the 2008 Olympics. However, I have been wondering why we have to wait for over 12 hours to see certain events. For example, the two 100 m finals have been described as "amazing" and "historical". Yet, we had had to wait until US prime time to see it. Such feats should not be offered on "delayed broadcast" in the name of generating more prime time revenue. Part of the fun of Olympics and other global sporting events is waking up early in the morning to see it.....with buterflies in your stomach!

Some may say that I am only concerned about the 100 m finals because it was dominated by Jamaicans. Those persons would be correct. We kicked butt! Why is NBC ignoring Jamaican world record holder Usain Bolt and the trio of female Jamaican sprinters who won gold, silver and silver?!

Anyway, thats it for now. Thanks for helping me to get this blogging thing started.
